PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Each Multi-tumor Core panel control slide includes the following tumor tissue sections: Brain, Thyroid, Lung, Muscle, Stomach, Small Bowel, Large Bowel, Prostate, Kidney, Uterus, Liver, Pancreas, Breast and Skin.
FIXATION and PROCESSING: Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded.
THICKNESS: 4 microns
APPLICATIONS and METHOD OF USE
Core panel multi tumor control slide is generally employed as the positive control and negative control on the same slide. These multi-tumor control slides are employed in a variety of testing such as Immunohistochemistry (IHC), fluorescent labeling (IF) and in situ-hybridization (ISH). The case tissue or test sections may be also mounted on the same slide for ease of handling and microscopic examination.
INNOVEX Control Slides as provided are NOT pre-baked in order to preserve antigenicity and to further allow the end user the option of placing case or patient tissue on these control slide if desired. The core control slide bearing case or patient tissue section can then be baked at 60oC for 1-hour.
Bake slides in an oven at 60oC for 1-hour and cool to room temperature for 15-minutes prior to deparaffinization. These slides can also be baked in batches weeks and months in advance.
When desired, the case or patient tissue section can be placed onto a different location on this core multi tissue slide and then baked.
TESTED APPLICATIONS
IHC (paraffin), in-situ hybridization (ISH), Immunofluorescence (IF).
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store at room temperature in a cool dry place.
