PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Each Breast panel control slide contains five (5) breast tumor tissues that are positive for the
following breast markers: Estrogen receptor (ER), Progesterone receptor (PR), BRST-2, ki-67, E-Cadherin, Cytokeratins and sentinel nodes.
FIXATION and PROCESSING: Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded.
THICKNESS: 4 microns
APPLICATION and METHOD OF USE
This control slide is generally employed as the positive control and negative control on the same slide. These multitumor control slides are employed in a variety of testing such as Immunochemistry (IHC); Fluorescent labeling (IF) and in situhybridization (ISH). The case tissue or test tissue specimens may be also mounted on the same slide for ease of handling and microscopic examination.
INNOVEX Control Slides as provided are NOT baked in order to preserve antigenicity and to further allow the end user the option of placing case or patient tissue on the same control slide if desired. The control slide bearing case or patient tissue can then be baked at 60 oC for 1-hour.
Bake slides in an oven at 60oC for 1-hour and cool to room temperature for 15-minutes prior to deparaffinization; These slides can also be baked in batches weeks and months in advance.
When desired, the case/ patient tissue can be placed to a different location on the multi tissue control slide and then baked.

IHC (paraffin), in-situ hybridization (ISH), Immunofluorescence (IF).
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store at room temperature in a cool dry place.
