PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Each CD panel control slide includes the following tissues: Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Mantle cell lymphoma, Hodgkins
lymphoma and Tonsil. These tissues are positive for the following CD markers:
CD3, CD5, CD10, CD15, CD20, CD23, CD45, CD45RA, CD45RO and Cyclin D1.
FIXATION and PROCESSING: Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded.
THICKNESS: 4 microns
APPLICATIONS
This control slide is generally employed as the positive control and negative control on the same slide. These multi-tumor control slides are employed in a variety of testings such as Immunochemistry (IHC), fluorescent labeling (IF) and in situhybridization (ISH). The case tissue or test tissue specimens may be also mounted on the same slide for ease of handling and microscopic examination.
INNOVEX Control Slides as provided are NOT baked in order to preserve antigenicity and to further allow the end user the option of placing case or patient tissue on the same control slide if desired. The control slide bearing case or patient tissue can then be baked at 60oC for 1-hour.
Bake slides in an oven at 60oC for 1-hour and cool to room temperature for 15-minutes prior to deparaffinization. These slides can also be baked in batches weeks and months in advance.
The case and patient tissue can be placed to a different location on the multi tissue control slides and then bake the slides prior to use.
TESTED APPLICATIONS
IHC (paraffin), in-situ hybridization (ISH), Immunofluorescence (IF).
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store at room temperature in a cool dry place.
