Terrific Broth II is a proprietary reformulation of the classic Terrific Broth rich medium for high density growth of E. Coli cells and higher yields of plasmid DNA without the need of antibiotic amplification. Similar in functin to CIRCLEGROW™ Terrific Broth II is a single powder mixture that eliminates the 2 part preparation method of the original Terrific Broth formulation.

Application Notes

Terrific Broth II is a rich nutrient media for propagation of Escherichia coli for purposes of strain maintenance, cloning, protein expression. It is certified for plasmid and other bacterial cultures in liquid medium. Higher cell densities are achieved using Terrific Broth in comparison to traditional LB Broth.
