This product is an aqueous solution containing 10 mg/mL of human recombination insulin. Insulin regulates uptake, utilization and storage of glucose, amino acids and fatty acids in cells and inhibits decomposition of glycogen, proteins and lipids. Recommended for use in cell culture applications at 0.5 to 1 mL per liter of medium, but should be optimized for each process. Ships on dry ice. Store frozen at -20 to -10°C
