This growth factor that is very frequently used in many cancer research and atherosclerosis projects. Recombinant Human VEGF is carrier-free and produced in E.Coli. In addition to stimulating vascular growth and vascular permeability it may play a role in stimulating vasolidation via nitric oxidedependent pathways. Alternative splicing of the mRNA for VEGF results in several isoforms of the protein being produced.
