MycoMDx Candida auris PCR Assay | DNK-2107-1

MycoMDx  Candida auris  PCR Assay is a qualitative in vitro diagnostic test of  Candida auri s DNA using  Real time PCR.

Candida auris  is a fungus isolated for the first time in 2009 in Japan from a woman's ear (hence the name  auris  which, in Latin, means ear). Resistant to the most common antifungals , Candida auris is   a fungus that can be very  dangerous for immunocompromised individuals  and has been listed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)  as a major threat to global health . Able to create infections in the blood and in particular in skin wounds, yeast has a mortality that varies between 30% and 75%. MycoMDx  Candida auris is an early diagnosis aid test capable of providing fast and reliable results.
