Description
Monkey D-Dimer ELISA Kit | abx353336
D-dimer is a protein formed by two D fragments of the fibrin protein joined by a cross-link. D-dimer is one of several fibrin degradation product (FDP) formed by the degradation of a blood clot by fibrinolysis. It is used in the diagnosis of the blood disorder disseminated intravascular coagulation and in the diagnosis of thrombosis.
This kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Fibrinogen D-Dimer protein in Monkey Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Introduction: D-dimer (or D dimer) is a fibrin degradation product (or FDP), a small protein fragment present in the blood after a blood clot is degraded by fibrinolysis. It is so named because it contains two D fragments of the fibrin protein joined by a cross-link. Ddimers are not normally present in human blood plasma, except when the coagulation system has been activated, for instance because of the presence of thrombosis or disseminated intravascular coagulation. As a result, D-dimer concentration may be determined by a blood test to help diagnose thrombosis and has become an important test performed in patients with suspected thrombotic disorders.
Target: D-Dimer
Reactivity: Monkey
Tested Applications: ELISA
Recommended dilutions Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Storage: Shipped at 4 °C. Upon receipt, store the kit according to the storage instruction in the kit's manual.
Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months.
Stability: The stability of the kit is determined by the rate of activity loss. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. To minimize performance fluctuations, operation procedures and lab conditions should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same user throughout.
Test Range: 62.5 ng/ml - 4000 ng/ml
