Synonym: GST-Cdc42

GloboZymes GST-tagged Cdc42 preparations are effective for binding and pull-down affinity studies.

Background: Cdc42 is a Rho-like GTP-binding protein. It is involved in signal transduction regulation and cytoskeleton reorganization in response to growth factor stimulation. Cdc42 activates members of the PAK protein kinase family by binding to their regulatory domain. The catalytic domain is then able to undergo autophosphorylation and concomitant activation.

Figure: Purified preparation of recombinant human GST-tagged cdc42 was subjected to SDS-PAGE. The gel was stained with Coomassie Blue.
