Background: The AGlu416 (PR65Glu416) subunit of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A, GLO130-GLO132) contains a mutation in a basic motif that is an important determinant for the interaction of the A (GLO138-001, GLO138-005) and catalytic (GLO132-001) subunits of the phosphatase. GloboZymes AGlu416 preparations can be used in reconstitution studies to further delineate the functional significance of the A subunit and its basic motif.
